Not worth it: Remote controls and accessories

Bought to have a new remote control. This didn't even work on a remote Directv setup. It didn't sync with the receiver and it messed it up, couldn't use the old remote. Just call Directv direct and for a few bucks more get a remote already set up in your receiver.

Great value for money on accessories and consumables

The unit Directv gave me stopped working so I needed a new one. I went to them for a replacement, they wanted to charge me a lot more than I paid for Revain. Another customer on the Directv site recommended buying from Revain instead. The looks and functions are exactly the same, only the price is lower.

Great Affordable Remote for DirecTV DVRs

I was REALLY skeptical about this remote as the price was pretty cheap but it is the exact same remote that came with our DirecTV DVR unit. Our old remote literally fell apart (the rubber parted on the back) and was quite uncomfortable after years of use by kids. This replacement remote worked with DirecTV without programming. I had to reprogram my TV but it was pretty easy. Very glad this replacement remote was (and is) available.

Not pretty the second time

Bought one of these in Fall 2020. After a few weeks, some buttons stopped working reliably. Went back to Revain for a replacement. This lasted 4 months, then it went just as wrong. What happens is the up-down channel and the up arrow, which brings up a small selection block of nine channels (in normal view), both become unresponsive. The same buttons continued to work in other modes (!). After switching to "MANUAL" mode, they work normally and perform their functions in this mode. Then when you

DirecTV charged $25 for this particular remote and they fixed my receiver

I have an old D12 DirecTV receiver that was starting to go haywire. I had to press the remote control buttons hard to get the receiver to pay attention. Sometimes the remote was dead - the lights on the mode switch didn't blink when the buttons were pressed - sometimes. However, the volume is controlled directly by the TV and everything worked fine.
