I love this non stick sponge. I have washed this sponge 3 times in the dishwasher and it has held up very well. It shows no signs of use yet. It still washes food off just as well as it did on day one. These are my favorite sponges.

This item may have a built in sponge, but it's far from a sponge, it's a sponge on the outside of some kind of metal and inside is a sponge to wipe up excess material to squeeze out water. However, you cannot use it to wipe down your countertops or appliances as it is a metal dishwashing sponge! So at the end there is a counter filled with food and soapy water!

I read reviews and looked at pictures of these sponges before buying them like everyone else but when I got them I wasn't impressed at all. They appear rough and look like they would be at home in a disco - very shiny. I don't like how they feel in my hand and as I don't trust them to wash many things for fear of scratching my dishes and pans I will throw them away.

We discovered this type of pads while living in China. It's essentially a sponge coated with a metal mesh that allows you to scrape dirt off dishes, pots and pans without scratching them. My sister had these sponges at home and I loved how well they cleaned that hard to remove dirt so I bought them. I like that they don't scratch pans, china or glass. And they lather well. If you wash your dishes aggressively like I do, they lose their shape. I have an alternative between this and a cleaning sponge, so I don't always use this to clean. It's good to know that the fibers can come loose, so don't use this on metal strainers or grooved coffee machine parts as the fibers will get…
