I bought these in 2020 and they have been in the box for a year. I live on the Gulf Coast and wanted something that would be easy to put together for emergencies (like a hurricane evacuation). I had the unfortunate opportunity of using them with Hurricane Nicholas last weekend. Pros: Fast to collect I was able to collect 9 of these and get 9 cats in record time. (less than 20 minutes) Cons: If the cat wants out, it will get out. They are great for kittens and cats that fit easily in the carrier

Update: This carrier has its limitations. When I recently tried it on a 16 lb cat, the handle fell off as soon as I picked it up. With that in mind, I think I'll be careful transporting my other larger cats. Of course, one cannot expect unlimited weight from a box.
