Disposable Graduated Essential Scientific Experiment Review

As a regular purchaser of Industrial and Scientific products, I was extremely disappointed with this particular purchase. After I put it to the test, I found the quality to be quite low for the cost. While the product is easy to use and dispose of, the graduated markings were inaccurate and the material felt cheap. The only positive aspect was the convenience of disposing it after use. Overall, I would not recommend this product to fellow lab students.

Due to the fact that these are disposable transfer pipettes and not *high precision* pipettes, minor errors are to be expected. They are so far beyond inaccuracy that they might as well not have been labeled at all. I used to think they were bad. Not even close. I have a 5% bounce rate. Never. Yet again. If two sips of 2.5ml touch less than 4.5ml, there is clearly no quality control.

I bought these pipettes to use with my nutrient solution that I put in water for my tomato plants. So far it seems that about 1 in 10-15 has a manufacturing defect that causes the pipettes to not hold the liquid properly. Because of this, it can be frustrating to get everything ready and grab the iPad only to be unable to do what needs to be done. For example, adjusting my nutrients/PH so the liquid flows straight out of the tube. Besides, it fits me well. One of the sneaky complaints would be…
