I've tried several fenders from local hardware stores and none fit properly. They were either a bit small or big. On some I had to remove the splash guard to use the plug to fill the sink with water. Others slipped when I gently pushed things down. This splash guard is perfect. We have an Insinkerator brand waste chute that works the same as the original fender that came with it. To me this is an obvious five star product and I will definitely buy the same when I need it!

My Waste King info says my 3 bolt model doesn't have a replaceable fender. Perhaps that is why there is a slightly larger version on offer. This just fits on the top of the drain.
