Very helpful! in Saws, Parts & Accessories

We just made 4 doors out of about 10 but it made a terrible job of it for us. I don't know how long it will last but at this price I would happily replace it.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good but a bit small

Cuts through great but a little smaller than the average door lock. It also cuts with rounded edges so I had to use a utility knife to square cut each corner.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Cutting the edge of the door is the hardest part.

Cutting the door edge is the hardest part when installing locks. That makes it a little easier. Just go slow and be careful.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Easy to use for power tool parts and accessories

Easy to use tool. However, our door latches were a bit taller and trying to maneuver the tool to make it taller was difficult. Overall, for the price, we were very happy with the end results.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Lots

A regular sharp chisel is much better

I was excited to try this as I had 6 doors that needed locking. In the end, this product was a lot more trouble than it was worth... the end metal bent incredibly easily and the built in chisel was useless.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Contact the seller

Not perfect but better with this tool

First I tried a competing Ryobi model and this tool is better. The Ryobi chisel is poorly constructed as it breaks easily after a single use; Because of this I had to send it back. This tool has the best chisel design that seems solidly attached to the tool. While the Ryobi has a stop to better align the chisel, it's only slightly more useful, and making sure this tool is pointed straight down will give you the same results. Still, it's not perfect, and while you can get a good beginner's…

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • I will add later
