I've been teaching art for 20 years. These paint pens are a miserable waste of money. I am making a mural, and wanted these copper paint pens for line work. They say "writes on anything". What a joke. I can not get these to work on top of latex paint to save my life. There are barely any paint in them. The paint does not flow to the nib. When you shake them (and you must to get them to flow), they drip and splatter everywhere. I got paint everywhere except on the wall I wanted to paint. Soooo…

i was trying to compare these to the sharpie oil paint markers & these are sooooo great. they’re nearly identical to the sharpie markers, they smell a little stronger but everything else is nearly the same i just started using them so i’ll update when i figure out if they outlast the sharpie markers :)update: i’m almost through my box and two of the markers stopped working like immediately after opening them & using them & when i tried to fix it they just kinda burst everywhere. they go further

Not all pens worked. Thanks for attention. Ones that did needed to go over a few times to make visible. A little to light for my needs

I wanted to love these markers. They DO WORK. The purple is bright and pretty. Very visible. However, it's a hassle to get them to write. Even after shaking them vigorously and repeatedly pressing down on the tip to release the ink, it barely writes at first. I had to release enough ink for the marker to bleed before it would write, then i had purple ink everywhere. AND! the cap is too small to fit on the back of the marker so u have to put the cap down somewhere and come back to it. I work in…

Bought these paint pens to outline a drawing of abominable I made for an outdoor Christmas decoration. They worked excellent and held up in snow and rain. They were easy to use and didn’t bleed.

I put my Big spices on their sides in the cabinet and Label the tops, most of which are dark. I've been fighting with white markers for AGES. I Opened up the box, pulled out the Bright Orange and wrote the name on the black cap. It was PERFECT. Don't know how long it will last, but it worked like a CHARM today.I also label my Meds & Supplements and put when to take them. Many of their caps are DARK, as well.

Worked great out of the box! No issues and this IS black baby! Used it over 600 grit sanded clearcoat and it was very smooth. No rough spots when pulling a 6” curved line at all. Never dried on me while using it once it was primed and ready.it stayed wet, but not runny

They're as cheap as they look, but they'll get the job done if you're in dire need for a project or sign. Not suitable for children due to toxicity risk.

I have a steel fabrication shop and use these paint pens to write on steel.Work better than other pens I have tried and more economical.I will buy more.

Great color payout on the first stroke, I wish the yellow wasnt highlighter yellow and that this brand offered different shades as individuals, BUT the colors in the multi pack are excellent and quite permanent and dry quickly at least on canvas. As you can see in the picture the white is super bright on this black canvas and in most cases this was just one pass lettering

I would say this product, for the short time I've used it, is a 2 1/2 star rating. First off, the ordor is much worse than any oil base paint I've ever used, so can't be opened in even a well ventilated garage as far as I'm concerned. Also, the paint isn't easy to get flowing even with 30-45 seconds of shaking and multiple tip depressions. Finally the writing tip is just too thick for most of the applications I needed it for, so the search goes on for a reliable, thinner paint pen.

Came just in time to write on all the Christmas packages! This worked wonders. Still on the first pen. Quality is pretty great. Instructions are clear and the lines are clean and effective. Some slight bleed from the packaging color came up sometimes, but it was never enough to be an issue and was easily remedied by going over it again after drying.Highly recommend these for anyone wanting to write on anything besides paper.

They are not a fine point. I am very disappointed. When you press the entire felt paint feeder can fall out. I did with two different pens and lost all the paint in pen One I didn’t lose paint. The paint is on my new $200. Rug. Cheaply made. Poorly made. I guess you could use outside with gloves. My hand is stained bright orange for four days. My rug? And a strong chemical smell. Thank goodness no one smokes

Maybe this slow response to get ink flowing is typical of paint pens. I'm not sure as I have not compared these to other pens. Otherwise they work well.

I used the gold pens to address our wedding invitations, and the markers didn't last through more than ten or so per marker! The finish was exactly what we were looking for, but we ended up finishing them with a regular ink pen because I didn't have 30 of them to burn through. Great for minor projects, but for anything more it's not worth the money/frustration.
