Not what I expected

Not what I expected. I bought these to use with embroidery floss but obviously I can't because they are too small. They look bigger in the photo. Especially with the word "embroidery needle" in the name of this product and not "needle and thread".

Pros
  • The best in my niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Large eyelets

I am an elderly person and found it too difficult to thread a needle without a needle threader, they are fragile and sometimes break after a few uses. I decided to try embroidery needles as I knew they had a bigger eye. They are fine for threading, but tend to be larger, which generally makes hand sewing more difficult.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

for serious embroiderers

This needle set works great for its intended purpose except it is difficult to determine the size of each needle without a digital caliper. The length gives an indication, but there's really no difference between a size 6 and 7, or between a size 8 and 9. Anyone who has been serious about embroidery knows that embroidery/hairpin needles have to be very small and thin. Yes, they are difficult to cut and break easily if not used for their intended purpose. The product is not to blame. It is…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
