The name on the box matches the name of the product but not the picture or the description of the color on the internet. There are also no two of each color. Here's a picture of what I actually got.

I 100% vote this DMC thread set as the most popular. The colors are the ones I go to often and of course the DMC quality couldn't be better. They separate easily into strands and it was great to have all the transitions in an easy order. Highly recommended!

Arrived as expected, have used this brand and the colorful threads before and love it. I mainly use it for binding Japanese books that need a hand-sewn spine. Looks great unlike the books I make with plain white thread as the stitched spine is visible when finished. I've also used them for embroidery and they're great for unexpected color schemes.

If you are looking for discontinued DMC 3880-3895 colors this is not it. The photo in the description shows an old discontinued box, but I received a newer version with replacement colors (04, 35, 312, 445, 543, 648, 722, 801, 907, 970, 3041, 3364, 3722). , 3837, 3844, 3846). The range is good hence 3 stars but not what I was looking for and not what is shown in the photo.

Yes I know it's cheaper to buy DMC thread by the piece but I'm just fed up with the crumpled balls from the bins in the shops. The cheaper price just isn't worth the mangled mess that skeins usually make when you try to wind them onto spools. These strands were clean and very easy to separate with no tangles.
