EXACTLY what it says

This is NOT a misleading label. "Count 16". THE SIZE. It refers to the number of squares per inch. This fabric is for handicrafts such as B. a counting cross designed. As such, it has evenly spaced squares and sewing holes. This fabric has 16 squares per inch, hence the "16 counts". Please do not leave negative feedback if you don't know what you are talking about.

Pros
  • It's packaged in soft tubes, a plastic sleeve that can hold more pieces per hook than a traditional hard tube
Cons
  • boring packaging

Happy With This Cloth

Very nice fabric. This is real cotton. It's thick enough and stiff enough to feel solid while still being easy to slip into a hoop. Wrapped in a roll to avoid wrinkles. I have always used 14 count fabric in the past, but the pattern looks so good in 16 count that I will most likely use that size again. I will definitely buy DMC Aida fabric again and prefer it to other brands I have tried.

Pros
  • Washable at 60 degrees Celsius, 140 degrees Fahrenheit; dry flat; iron between two towels if necessary
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I'm new to cross stitch but not new to Sew. The fabric I received was not basted properly, so the warp and weft threads were skewed to the left. While it softens (at least when using the "sewing method" for cross-stitch - I think less so when using the poke-and-paste method on the hoop) and again (square) to some degree by steaming and pressing can be blocked, it's not what I expected. If I were on a major project I would be appalled - your thread tension will never recover. In addition, the…

Pros
  • Precise square pattern with sewing holes visible makes this fabric easy to use and allows your needle to slide easily through the holes
Cons
  • Not trendy
