🔪 DMT W4EE Extra Fine Diamond Whetstone Review

I've had one for years, can't find it so this is my second. I have several other options including a very nice set of Lansky clip and guide diamonds. But that's the goal I'm striving for. The size is great - the tool you have is way better than the tool you left behind. And it works so well to get a sense of where the existing advantage lies to work on it.

I was happy with it. Yes, it's small, but with my pocket knives in combination with other stones and a belt, it does a great job. My two knives are C110v and C35vn. It appears to be of good quality and feels like it has settled down after a few uses. First I bought a large 8 x 3" DTM xx-fine. Not happy at all. It looked awful. It does what it's supposed to do. Make your knife very sharp. I have a razor sharp edge on my buck folder in no time. Be careful, this is a diamond stone and needs to be touched very lightly. Also remember to NEVER use oil, only dry water or water. I have a complete set from the extra extra fine course. That way I can use them as needed to mend or restore an old dull blade.
