Although it's good

I use extra thin every day, this one is not very good. The extra penalty I see needs to be replaced after a while. But given the intermittent use this is getting, I can see it's going to last a long time. There is also a small leather case. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Oil is not needed, we sharpen it dry or with water
Cons
  • I don't remember

so far so good

I use an extra fine stone every day, this one less often. The extra penalty I see needs to be replaced after a while. But given the intermittent use this is getting, I can see it's going to last a long time. There is also a small leather case. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Sharpens knives faster than regular stones thanks to monocrystalline DMT diamond surface
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

so far so good

Deburrs well in the grinding shop. I'm not sure about longevity though. I use it a lot in the shop and it already seems to be a bit worn. Stayed about a month. If it takes six months it will be worth it for me given the time commitment.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
