    Defective product best in towing products and winches

    The clutch looks decent (apart from the tacky chrome bolts which don't match the black finish at all) but it does NOT fit properly. Screw holes are uneven. , so if you put the bolt in on one side, it won't slip out on the other side. See picture for proof. I will either have to return it or change the holes (drill bigger) to allow the screw to go through both sides, which is really unacceptable. When you buy a product, you should be able to install it without worrying about modifying it.

    Footplate doesn't fit receiver

    Hello, I just received my step and it looked nice and clean. Only thing is I have a 2" receiver and the step clutch was just over 2". It doesn't fit in my receiver. I'm trying to return or replace this one. What a shame nice I will update and let you know what happened but be careful now because mine doesn't match my receiver. My other clutches work fine, this single stage clutch was not measured correctly. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the metal was bent outward on one side and inward

    The diamond plate is screwed to the step.

    Looks solid. He can keep me at 260 pounds and doesn't feel like he's going to give up. Looks very good, has a matte black finish with a light texture. I didn't like that the inside is unpainted bare metal. I didn't like the diamond plate, the steps were screwed, not welded. The screws look like cheap metal and if you live near water this is a vulnerable spot with rust. I never intended to go off color. I sanded the unit when I got it and once with 220 grit sandpaper and the paint was coming off
