The filter was placed in a box that was too small for the item so the filter was broken to fit. Judging by the photo, it's in terrible condition. I won't be returning it, but I won't be ordering another one in the future. 0 stars should be given for this.

Revain doesn't seem to protect these delicate filters well enough. Mine came with the sides flattened. This makes it useless as a filter as it allows air to pass through. But the door and the instructions are ok. Save your money and just buy a door and go to your local auto parts store and buy a 2017 Ram 1500 cabin air filter, it's the same.

I tried to cut a hole for the filter with a utility knife and the plastic is a lot stronger than you think. I found that using a 3/8 bit to make a few holes within the cut helped speed up the process. Then, using a hard knife blade, connect the holes. After that, the cut took less than 15 minutes.

Really surprised it's not factory installed. Perfect fit and finish. For those who don't know, you have to cut out a panel in the air conditioner that allows access to add this filter. And then you close the door. Clearly, the better you make the cuts, the easier it will be. Very happy with the purchase. Less odors in the cab and definitely less dust/pollen in the truck

The kit works great. Saves you the trouble of keeping track of the right cover part number and filter number when adding a cabin air filter to a Ram. Installed on 2500 2012. The bad thing when unpacking was that the filter was folded in half to fit in the box. I managed to stretch and get back into shape. It would be a good idea to check the part number to get a better quality filter. The included Mopar filter is thin.

Once you've started installing the cover, you may need to do what I did and place a blowtorch or heat gun to the left and right of the tabs holding the cover in place hold , glue them together and hold until the plastic has cooled and they are permanently fixed in the corner position. Be careful not to hold the heat for too long or you will melt the plastic. should do it, but i fixed the city really tight

I drive a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX. This list and any other with this feature "does it fit your car" will also say it doesn't. This is because my model never came with it. It fits perfectly. I heated the blade with a lighter and it easily cut through the plastic behind the glove box. Just heat it up a few times when the cut gets tough and it'll cut clean. Don't forget to cut a notch at the bottom of each side of the hole (clearly marked on the panel you are cutting) for the tabs on the door. The
