🐱 Cat Litter Mat by Dog Gone Smart Review

Bought 2 of these rugs. This is the best I've found for catching dirt that comes off my kitties' paws. They shake off easily and wash well.

I bought these because they felt heavier than the foam packaging. Now my cat uses a litter box instead of a litter box! I'm not sure if she likes how soft it is. or what . but it's not helpful.

I was a little hesitant to order this mat - it seemed a bit expensive for a cat litter mat. I literally vacuumed every day because my cat ran out of the litter box carrying litter on her paws. It eliminated 99% of the trash and "dust dust" in my house. It's cute too! Easy to vacuum with a Dyson stick. I couldn't be happier.

I was supposed to get a mouse pad but got a pad with paw prints instead. So I'm a bit disappointed with this. But beyond design, carpet just doesn't work that well and picks up dirt. I have this rug right next to the litter box and the cats are still littering everywhere and I have to vacuum it almost every day. Since we have hardwood floors, it spreads and curls very easily.

This toilet mat is difficult to destroy. My cat Lucifer tore up every other toilet mat we've tried except this one. The only downside is my cats pee on these rugs (don't know why) so I bought a few to wash them constantly and take a few days to dry. This works just as well as other litter boxes, you'll still see litter all over the house, but that's to be expected when you have multiple cats.

beautiful, soft and cute! I use chicken crumbs as a stuffing for my cat and he is a slob who is always stalking things. Sometimes crumbs stick to the carpet and need to be shaken off by hand. Otherwise a really good product and my cat seems to like that it's nice and soft. If I had to wash it as it is a VERY heavy rug I would have to wash with a bundle of towels to balance the washing machine. I'm surprised others have tried to wash such a heavy item on their own. No wonder their machines…
