Bought for a German Shepherd. After wearing it for weeks, his tiny 40-pound pooch ate it off him. So now we have a chewed collar no dog can wear. To be honest, the mongrel will chew anything it can swallow, but I didn't expect it to be able to handle it.

Collar arrived on time and is made of quality material. The only problem is that the spikes are too sharp. We had to buy another collar for our dog until we could find a way to file down the spikes a bit. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

This collar is a real find. I bought this for my German Shepherd after he was attacked by coyotes. It is difficult to find durable leather for street dogs these days and I am grateful to the creators of this collar. Note, however, that the spikes are sharp enough to injure a wolf. For the safety of my shepherds walking along, and our own safety, I used a Dremel grinder to round off the ends. A collar without super sharp beards is perfect for us.
