It didn't work for us.

This collar seemed to work with noises in the room, which completely confused my dog. I only tried it on the lowest settings for a few days but removed it.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Something else

Didn't work on my stubborn beagle

I was really hoping it would work. After trying different settings for 10 days I had to return it. My beagle is stubborn and it didn't bother him. Much luck. I've read the comments that it works for some dogs.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Tradeable

I hate the idea that I have to use that in .

I hate the idea of even having to use this but I live in an apartment building and my dog won't stop barking while I'm gone (new thing because my husband passed away and now she's overprotective ). It definitely helps mitigate the problem. I only need it when she's home alone, not when I'm with her in public where I really don't have a problem with her barking!

Great product that lasts

Great product that lasts. The first lasted for years. For the second dog we needed a second one as they get in conflict with the neighbors dogs. One or two loud barks and they correct themselves almost immediately. We have tried other types of correction collars such as B. Spray collars, but they didn't work on our puppies. We only turn it on for very short periods of time. It was great while we were outside to prevent excessive barking.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Very durable in Dogs

Worth every penny, rechargeable is a must, durable excellent quality than much cheaper batteries. Surprisingly, I have a happy 21-pound Boston Terrier that barks and barks and barks at people, or at my German Shepherd because she has a toy. She knows how to act when it's on, only at level 3 max. Only complaint is that it worked a couple of times when another dog was barking nearby, but very rarely. I am fully satisfied and recommend instead of batteries.

Works perfectly! Dog Suitable

I am very happy with how this collar is working on my dog. It can get pretty snooty, and I live in an urban area with 50-foot-wide lots and lots of pedestrians. Dolce loves to "guard his property," which he believes can be seen from our backyard. The collar reduces barking by around 95% which is great as he likes to be outside a lot when the weather is good, sometimes even all night. When I'm at home I don't put it on him because I can bring him in if he barks too much. I'm glad he can walk as…

The thing really works

Previously we tried something not to shock a cross between a Jack Russell and a terrier (named Monkey). This dog, and I'm not exaggerating, barked at EVERYTHING. People, bikes, cars, other animals. He's not an aggressive dog, so he barked and didn't bite. He couldn't get along with other dogs either, because I think he has small dog syndrome. However. The drums on this unit hit 10, but we had 3 to start with. When he was first shocked, it didn't hurt him, but he learned quickly. After about a…
