Very nice light blanket! I wasn't sure about the color as it looked dark blue in the photos. It's not blue at all, but grey, red and cream. Husband liked it very much. More reviews here. Yes, this is a solid diamond quilt, not a "real quilt". I washed it and it turned out soft and safe. I have a non-agitator washer and would not recommend washing in a regular agitator washer.

I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The material is light as described, but looks very nice. I didn't notice any unsewn pieces of thread or tears. The only thing I would like to say is that the pillowcases are for standard sized pillows and not for anything bigger so be aware. Our pillows are just right. We live in a cabin and have always used a flannel blanket as a bedspread. However with 2 cats and 1 dog it seems like the blanket has been in the wash and dried for ages. This cover is the perfect solution! It retains the cockpit feel we want but doesn't need to be cleaned forever. Now in summer it is light enough that we don't have to move it at night. We'll see what happens with the winter temperatures, but I think we'll just put a thicker blanket underneath so our bedding is still protected…
