DID NOT FIT MY APPLICATION

Engine 2.5 H4 did not fit my Forester 02. The Forester uses M10 x 1.25 bolts and when I looked for them at Revain they turned up for some reason. If you look closely in the description it says "m8x1.25", it's a bit my fault and also the amazons saying it would fit my car. Although it looks like decent quality.

Same price for 8 as others are selling 2. Great deal.

Economy 101. Installed 2 of 8. Like 100% ok. Same price as others for 2. This takes into account who made the product. It was child's play. They're not just for cars. They work on small engines (Honda) and many others, as well as motorcycles. Thread 8mm x 1.25 turns. Pretty standard for modern technology.

work on 2.2 ecotec

Modified engines for Chevy Cobalt 2009. The donor engine had the exhaust manifold bolt broken when I picked it up, two more broke when the manifold was removed. I was able to remove the broken ones by welding flat washers to the remaining head studs and then nuts to the washers. Not trusting the remaining 7 rivets, I removed them and replaced them all with this kit. They were a little longer than the originals, but the length didn't cause any problems. Cheap repair.

Suitable for ECOTEC 2.4L on Chevrolet Equinox.

M8-1.25 x 56mm studs appear to be used on many engines. I could not find original ECOTEC cleats. This is almost identical to the original. It uses an Allen key instead of the E-socket on the original bolt. It's a few millimeters longer (org. 52 mm). The surface texture is different. In general, very similar to the original. The nuts are black, otherwise identical to the original. Good to have if you break a bobby pin like me.

Sturdy, good quality, good value, I love it

They were for a built Honda racing engine, the turbo manifold had a thicker flange than the original, the original bolts are not long enough, plus it is a race car bolt in an aluminum head and the aluminum head unscrews after a good couple of torque cycles, they are very good, they were able to fully sink into the head, machine quality tolerances, the threads were nice and tight, there is no loose thread. Comes with lock nuts, these are high quality studs and the nut is 13mm and the standard is

All screw perfectly into the heads, there is no grip as in.

I replaced the studs with these on two Ford 5.4 liter 3v cylinder heads that I was rebuilding. I had 4 broken studs so I put these in. They all thread perfectly into the heads, there is no grip like cheap fasteners and once I put the nuts on there is a nice smooth ride up to the specified torque and the nut is self locking. I can only recommend them, the quality looks and works well. The originals broke both heads on the last two cylinders so thermal cycling is the real test, hopefully they…

2 failed during installation before final torque setting

Bolt head broke off during exhaust manifold installation and another bolt was completely cut in half during the same installation before final torque settings were applied. As a result, I didn't dare to tighten the remaining studs to the final torque so as not to break the rest. I would not buy them again and would choose a different manufacturer even though the manufacturer has stated that these cleats can be tightened much more than I have used. there is not much faith in them. If you are…

M8x1.25 bolts will do for many applications even ls3 Camaro

After some internet surfing I liked this kit from Dorman, not sure what it is for but i know the bolts have M8x1.25 threads on both ends which is the correct thread pitch for my ls3 camaro exhaust manifold hardware. I wanted to swap out the factory bolts for studs that better match the stainless steel exhaust pipes I installed a few years ago. I love the look of the Arp bolts, but I don't spend $100 on header bolts, I'm sure they are the best bolts in the world, but I don't care. They're not…
