Works on Jeep WJ 2004 Limited. ADVICE

People write that this system does not work. Actually I was tired of getting it to work over 30 times with the same jeep. BUT here is the key. Sorry for the pun. Reprogramming assumes you have a working radio receiver in the jeep. Unless you've lost or broken your old one, you're like most. The key fob only works a few times and seems to be getting worse and worse. We also assumed that you cleaned the contacts or changed the battery. If yes, you have a big problem. Didn't work for me, but maybe for you.

This did not work for the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee I bought it for. 3 stars because although I have verified by VIN number and visual inspection that the car is equipped with remote keyless entry, I cannot say with certainty that the wireless receiver in the car does not have one as the car does not have the original Key fob has a problem. Works great with factory and aftermarket remotes. My 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee isn't listed in the description, website or packaging but I was confident it would work so I took a chance and ordered it. As it turned out, I was right.
