I have a 2008 Corvette C6 with an A6. The transmission cable has a grommet at each end (one of the five grommets in this kit). Replaced the shifter jack when installing the Kenwood stereo as I had to remove the console. Finally, the bushing on the gearbox broke and the car would not drive. Luckily I was in the driveway. Received this pack of bushings and after a few hours everything was fine again.

While not listed as suitable, it will work if you're replacing the shifter socket on a '04-'06 Chevy Cavalier (possibly for other years but these are the ones I know for sure). This comes closest to the smallest bushing with the smallest taper. (As of this writing it is on the far left of the image.) I got 4 stars for not giving a 5 star rating to a piece of molded plastic.

An incredible amount of research has gone into finding the best replacement for factory junk that is tearing and falling apart. Played and it worked! If you're having trouble with your '05 Corvette derailleur, this was the perfect replacement. The sad thing is that the factory won't tell you that because they aren't technically designed specifically for this application. Luckily I found an old article about using it for corvettes.
