Well Done Transmission Oil Pan

This transmission oil pan has a drain plug that allows you to change the transmission oil without dropping the oil pan. Although this product (like everything else these days) is made in China, it is relatively heavily built and has a perfectly flat sealing surface that promises a good seal. The coloring is impeccable. It doesn't seem to differ in quality from OEM pans, maybe better. Other reviewers noted that it lacks the eyelet flange that the original has for attaching the wiring harnessโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very Good Value
Cons
  • Something Different

Only one ticket if your pan warps.

People don't realize that the stock Chrysler pan bends easily when removed because it was factory bonded with a very good RTV and dry finish. By simply prying it open, the edge can bend so much that it no longer seals well. It took three tries and a lot of wasted ATF to figure it out. So put a ruler on your old one as soon as you take it off, and if there's even the slightest bit of daylight underneath, take this pan for a new, flat fill. Just make sure you clean it completely before installing

Really nice front pan with drain plug

This is a great solution for my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. I know it says it doesn't fit, but that's not entirely true. I went to the Chrysler MiniVan forums and read several threads that proved this one works. A hole for attaching the hose and cable is missing. There are several ways to find an easy to make bracket to hold the hose/wire in place. The great thing about this pan is the drain plug. I installed this pan and new filter in 2 hours and then changed the fluid 3 more times

Great for 2005 Chrysler T&C Mini-Van

This is a transmission pan that you must purchase to keep the drain plug in place to maximize fluid drain on the Chrysler T&C Mini - 2005. Delivery truck. I bought magnets and installed 8 pieces (about the size of a quarter). Then I had some old magnets on the outside of the pot. As a result, all metal particles are drawn to the magnet and held there and can no longer circulate. In this case, the magnets work most effectively when the vehicle is not moving. The pallet rises when the gearbox isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Also fits 2006 Grand Caravan

This well made shell also fits my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. In fact, it will fit any Caravan or Grand Caravan with a 41TE 4-speed gearbox. As mentioned in one of the other reviews, the original pan has a hole in the flange which this pan does not have. This hole is for the screw holding the metal bracket that holds the wiring harness above it and has nothing to do with the transmission pan gasket. This small tweak can be handled in a number of ways. I cut the extra hole flange part from the old
