Reliable Tensioner for Automotive Engines

This tensioner is a must-have for automotive repairs. It is reliable and has outperformed many other brands. The installation is quick and easy, making it a great choice for both mechanics and DIY enthusiasts. The tensioner has ensured that the timing belt stays in place, giving you confidence in the engine's performance. The only downside is that it can be a little pricey compared to other options, but the performance is well worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

  • Reliable and durable
Cons
  • Installation requires proper tools and technical expertise

Good fit, good price!

Installing on a 2004 Corolla Remember when installing a new gasket it will be a snug fit. Just tighten it evenly with a socket wrench to keep it snug.

Pros
  • Recommended for replacement when installing a new timing chain and pulleys
Cons
  • Expensive

Outstanding quality stopped a leak on my Toyota Corolla 04 1.8L

I really only had to replace the o-ring on my timing chain tensioner but due Due to the high price, I decided to buy the tensioner complete. They usually leak as the seal ages. Remember that with the locking mechanism engaged you install two 10mm nuts and then turn the crankshaft a few turns with the crank bolt using a ratchet and socket wrench. You will hear the ratchet click a few times or more depending on timing chain play, mine clicked 3 or 4 times which lets me know the tensioner is fully
