Ordered at the end of October. Today my window fell through and fell through the door. Both pieces broke in multiple places in less than a month of use. In other words, these parts are absolute junk. They took a design flaw from Oldsmobile and made it worse! I'll return these and go to the junkyard to get the old ones out, they'll be better than these.

Our Olds Alero makes a loud 'pop' when we lift the glass; the window is crooked. This is usually an OEM part latch (and/or other plastic track that attaches to the glass of the Help 38480 window guide). Fortunately, this part of Dorman is available. It's a bit fiddly to remove the door panel and reach behind the rail to swap it out, but it's a cheaper solution.

Worked great on my Grand Am. Everywhere I looked online almost everyone said that if these clips broke you would have to buy a whole new window regulator kit. The dealer said $800 and the local mechanic said $400-600 for repairs (both said it was impossible to just replace these clips) but I spent less than $30 on some epoxy and window clips (several parts broke under my window) and repaired in less than an hour.

I watched a YOUTUBE video on window repair before trying to install this article which really helped a lot. He showed me how to remove the door panel etc without destroying anything.
