It fits perfectly and is very easy to install

I couldn't find it in an auto parts store but the delivery was fast. It fits perfectly and is very easy to assemble. If you have a squeak that you think could be caused by a belt or code P0171, check that first. Researchers know that these boots wear out quickly.

All the parts you need

Replaced lazy elbows on a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT. Check engine light with PO171, 174 lean. The kit came with both elbows. Some have mentioned that their configuration used 3 elbows, but I had a bend in the plastic tubing that went from the left front knee to the knee on the PCV valve. Fits well.

  • Nice deal

Code P0174 is no more!

worked fine but it should have been a different hose/elbow. I have three hoses/elbows on my truck, two elbows in the front and one in the back, the two elbows that were part of this kit worked great. After 230,000 km, the old ones deteriorated sharply. I've kept the best of the three old ones and reused them until I find time to order another set. PS No more code P0174 bad left bank

Perfect Fit - 02 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6

Perfect for replacing a worn and torn PCV knee on my Ford Ranger 02 4.0L V6. Elbows are thick and strong. In my case, the larger of the two included elbows worked best. Absolutely no complaints about quality or installation. Installed and ready to use in 15 minutes. A bit pricey for what you get but seems to be the case everywhere.

  • Some Imperfections

Repaired the PCV hose on my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport 4L V6

Check engine light gave error codes P0171 and P0174, lean mixture, bank 1 and bank 2. Have tried the usual repairs: air filter clean - ground Clean the Flow sensor with air and then replace it. Replace the fuel filter, and then check the fuel pressure. No help. After relocating the radiator hose to the other side of the oil filler neck, I inspected the PVC hose in the intake manifold. I noticed that the front rubber knee was not round but sunken and wrinkled what looked like a small hole in the
