🔧 Dorman 599-215 Climate Control Module: A Perfect Fit for Chevrolet/GMC Models Review

Product appears to be OEM. Apparently good quality. The only problem is that I have automatic climate control and you can't regulate the rear air. It stays on until you turn off the car. Looks just like my old part.

Not working properly, very hot or very cold. The automatic temperature setting does not work properly. Emailed Dorman support, got a response right away, but after I replied with more information they never responded.

Was on the list to work on my Chevy Tahoe, wasn't working properly resulting in the rear AC not working. Put the old one back in and everything worked. They should have a better description of what it works for and what it doesn't work for.

Although the VIN says it was meant for my Tahoe, after installation the rear air conditioning stopped working, although it seemed to fix the front A/C fault. I returned it for a refund. Others have had the same experience.

This unit will NOT work with integrated overhead rear controls. Spent a lot of money on new knobs and replacement parts for the old block. It was intended to be dual seating, but once fitted it was not possible to control the rear heater and air conditioning with the controls above the driver's head. As soon as I installed the old device, everything went back to factory settings.

Controller received, packaging is good. I haven't had time to fit it in for a few months as I rarely drive this car. When installed the rear heater and controls do not work properly and I also lose my air conditioning when it is installed. Believe me, this is a defective device and you must get another one. At first glance, Revane says I missed the opportunity to return this item (it's my own fault for procrastinating). Annoying!

My 2000 Tahoe had a dead panel. No heating, no air conditioning, not even indicator lights on the control panel. The fuses, HVAC controls, fan motor, and drives were all checked, so that was the only option left. Replace it in just 5 minutes without using any tools. Remove the dashboard bezel, press the tabs on the dashboard and pull to access the connector. Push, pull, turn off. Insert the connector into the new module, press until it clicks into place, replace the front panel. Made. Enjoy…
