🔧 Dorman 61133 Radiator Drain Cock - Convenient Assistance for Draining Radiators Review

The shape of this fork is MUCH better than the original, just a square hole for pivoting. The original was terrible. However, note that this only applies to the OEM heatsink. I bought a new radiator and it didn't fit.

Ideal for 1999 K1500 Suburban. The old one was broken so it couldn't be grabbed to turn, making it impossible to drain the radiator without removing the hoses. I bought special long handled pliers to pinch the edges of the old faucet. After some work I finally pulled the old one out. This new one went in easily and opened and closed with no problems. Now I can reach under it with one hand and just drain the water out of the radiator.

The radiator valve in my Impala X 95cc Highway Patrol Car started to leak. Very quickly I realized that it was broken in half. So like everyone else I ordered a new one (P/N 61133) (it arrived 2 days later) only to find it didn't even come close to fitting. (see photo) (the faucet on the left didn't fit) so after a lot of searching I found that the faucet for my radiator was for an 86-97 Cadillac Eldorado, part number #61109, I hope this helps someone in the future
