Not worth the hassle

After trying this AUTOMOTIVE filter, i had high hopes for improved performance .However, installation was a nightmare and caused more problems than it solved. The only pro is that it is affordable, but the cons outweigh the low cost. The filter did not last long before needing to be replaced and caused multiple malfunctions in my vehicle. I do not recommend this product for anyone looking for reliable performance car parts and accessories..

2010 Powerstroke mounts with slip joints and clamps. I was thrilled to purchase this DPF. Its outside diameter is about 1 inch larger, which greatly increases the flow area. And of course it's a great price for a brand I've bought other products from in the past. BUT it doesn't fit. The Ford downpipe that fits into the extension between the DPF and muffler has a factory OD of 3.450 inches. The outside diameter of this Dorman device ranged from 3.490 to 3.570 inches. That's an average of 0.080…
