Overall a decent product.

Brass nuts are rubbish. Apply Loctite to the studs when installing them. Then replace them with aircraft-type locknuts. They had to withdraw twice before doing what I mentioned above.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • weak

Decent replacement elbow but one of the nuts provided was .

Decent header replacement but one of the nuts supplied was unthreaded at all and one of the exhaust flange o-rings was bent. $5 at the parts store but still added time to work

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some issues

Bad Casting! Complete garbage!

I went through two of these in about a year. The latter cracked in less than 1000 miles. They appear due to poor watering. You can see that the metal looks crystallized along the crack after cleavage. Cheap steel and bad castings make very bad components. Save your money, this exhaust manifold won't last a month!

  • New
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Leaks where the covers of the lid enter the bad casting

where the lid screws enter the bad casting, my first problem was with bobby pins that sufficed with connect to the release. SECOND SEAL THAT THE PRODUCT COMES WITH AIR LEAK AND I COULD HEAR THE LEAK WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE RIDED THIS FOR 89 DAYS NOW AND IT STARTS LEAKING FROM THE SCREWS ON THE COVER AND I CAN'T FIX IT.

Pros
  • a good product for its price
Cons
  • I don't remember but something was leaking

Very similar to the OEM manifest

I'm an amateur so it took me a while to get this work done but it worked and made sense. As the main reviewer mentions, the biggest issue for me was the EGR, so yeah, get this 24mm tubular wrench from Amazon and make sure you slide it onto the manifest and unscrew it before final installation. I have commented further on this person's post. Haven't ridden it yet so can't comment on the one that claims the exhaust comes out in weird places but looks like he or she didn't use a gasket? The heat…

It works and works well

I bought this for my 1997 Nissan Hardbody D21 pickup, the price is right so instead of scouring the junkyards for a crack free original block I went with this one, here are mine Thoughts on that exhaust. Diversity of good and bad. The reason I'm only giving this manifold four stars instead of five is because of a few simple things: The casting is pretty coarse compared to the Japanese block it replaced once it was on the market you might think, Dorman would solve the original problem. The…
