Not the most reliable factory mount.

Easy to install but not the most reliable thing. I put washers and nuts on the back of the panels but I don't think I need to worry about them falling out now. Looks better than I expected based on the photos.

Good repair/replacement strap.

I used these to replace worn broken armrests on a 1994 Ford Econoline Van. Installs to factory brackets and holes. I had to enlarge the mounting holes slightly to fit the original screws. Not ideal, but it works.

Wrong hardware, wrong length!

No suitable screws for the original internal thread to connect to the door panel. The length is too long so the strap protrudes further towards the cabin. I'll try to find the right gear and use this product, it might be better than nothing as it's quite difficult to find an original for a 1968 car.
