Ideal as spares

They are great for replacing steel fuel lines. Just use a heat gun to heat the line and you can push them in by hand directly and they won't leak

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Difficult to say

closer to 1/4 inch than 5/16

Roughly between two sizes, a bit loose for 5/16 and fits 1/4. Both should work with a hose clamp, really a 4.5 star article

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This is how I do it with nylon cords.

This is how I do it with nylon line, I heat the barb with a lighter so it's hot to the touch, clamp the center of the prong with a vise and push straight in, the line forms a barb protrusion and you won't pull it out hey hope this helps

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Frequency

They work very basic but when using a Doman 800.

They work very basic but when using a Doman 800 nylon fuel line with it I had to use a hair dryer to fit the hose over the nipple draw . I found the whole issue of setting hose lengths in an existing system very tedious. Find out, looks easy enough, it's not with these Dorman products.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some cons
