Works. Shit made in China, shit. Probably enough for 2 months of use before the brittle plastic just shatters into pieces. This is a very inferior instrument. As you would expect for the price.

My old one just needed a new bulb but it's hard to find a replacement and costs more than the whole unit. For small motors, it is a little flimsy and sometimes difficult to install on small motors with a short cable. You have to use it in a dark place in the store to see how it works.

Works very well. The feature I bought it for is that it is "hands-free," which is important when I'm using it on an outboard where I pull the starter rope, which cranks the engine and ignites sparks. Therefore, it is impossible to hold a conventional spark tester and pull the starter rope at the same time.

Arrived on time as advertised, made with quality materials. The bulb in the kit was blown but there was a spare bulb in the kit so no big deal. However, the lamp is quite difficult to install in the right place for it to work, it is quite loose. Even with two-stroke engines, the light is quite weak.

There were big problems with the outboard motor. It is difficult to pull the starter cable and at the same time try to hold the spark plug (either one) to the engine ground and try to see if there is a spark. After buying a spark plug and a wire tester (which I should have bought sooner), checking the spark was easy. A spark or fuel problem was immediately identified.
