it can work well for some applications but it doesn't communicate with ECM on e320 cdi. outputs only 2 volts. They need to update their app list to be more specific

after ordering because it supposedly fits my 05 e320 cdi i installed it and found that it was the wrong module. Appropriate, but clearly not the same unit of measure. These things are boogers so I don't have to say I'm mad!

I have had success with Dorman products in the past and have enjoyed good quality at reasonable prices. It displays incorrectly on my 2005 E320 Cdi. It may work fine on other models. The return was quick and uncomplicated. Definitely a five star deal to get a star.

June 2018. Fit my 2007 American model Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD with Mercedes Benz OM642 diesel engine. Installation was quick and easy, many people have conflicting opinions on this Dorman module, but this model worked great for me. All 6 glow plugs were also renewed. I recommend doing glow plugs at the same time as the module.

This glow plug adapter is smaller than my original but has the same mounting holes and fits perfectly and got rid of the red "coil" indicator on my 2008 Mercedes/Freightliner Sprinter. I can't confirm durability. But it saved me a lot of money compared to the retail prices. The product is made in India. There is nothing wrong with living in this global economy now.
