Reliable genuine product and working as intended

Used to replace a faulty breather valve on a 2011 GMC Acadia Denali AWD. The replacement product was an exact original and works great. Very easy to install yourself. I love ordering car parts from Revain and having them delivered to my home. I wouldn't turn a blind eye to redeem it and do it again.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some faults

10 mins Fitment: Parts

Nice replacement part for my Chevy Traverse 09. Slightly different from the OEM part and couldn't reuse the OEM bracket to hold it in place but after tightening the attached screw in the bracket was no longer necessary. The replacement took 10 minutes and after installing the part I went out and filled up my car to check it out and it started straight away with no delay.

  • Nice item

Worked great in my 2010 Enclave CXL

Purchased to replace my 2010 CXL Enclave. I watched a YouTube video on the exchange. The man was able to swap it out in 15 minutes, the part fitted perfectly! No more problems with the car not starting after filling up. Update October 2017: This part failed after 2 months. The same problems started again. Had to be replaced by dealer.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Fits my 2011 Buick Enclave

I am ordering this part because my 2011 Buick Enclave is having trouble starting ONLY after filling up (requires 4 tries) otherwise it starts fine. Googling kept coming up posts blaming this part for this problem so I bought it to replace while it worked like a charm. Removes two clips and screw, very easy to replace. It fits perfectly. I am very happy with it.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Protection

Not that bad. A short time later disappointment.

Very loud click. Cleared all codes that caused the Check Engine Light to illuminate. Now the car starts immediately after refuelling. The exchange took me 20 minutes, I hope it lasts despite the annoying noise. Unfortunately, this part stopped working after less than 90 days. I called Dorman and reported the clicks to them right after the install. There was less of a reaction than a concerned one.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons

Fixed starting problem after refueling

My 2011 Buick had starting problems after refuelling. After some research I bought this part and my friend installed it for me. He has about 5 years experience as a mechanic and said it made sense although it wasn't the first thing that came to his mind with this particular issue. This eliminated the problem that the car was difficult to start after about 3 weeks after refueling. I hope this is a permanent solution.

Pros
  • Good marks from testers for support and durability
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok

The intermittent failure of this product has caused many headaches

I installed this on a 2013 Impala. This solved my problem for 8 months. Then the part began to fail periodically. This intermittent problem caused all sorts of headaches because I couldn't diagnose the problem myself. It also took a long time for the ASE auto mechanic to finally get a duplication error so they could identify the problem with my check engine light. In the end, my $34 Revain part mechanically cost me $270.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Has flaws

One year reliability

The Dorman flush valve works as expected and on the Acadia it is located front and center under the shroud making it easy to replace. However, I have had my Acadia for 4 years now and have replaced the flush valve 4 times, each time with a Dorman. Its failure is so regular that I know that when it does, I'll have to replace the wiper blades and rearrange the tires. Yes, yes, I've followed online prevention advice like "don't fill the tank after the handle clicks". ' but because of that part I…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
