P0447 CLEANING in Exhaust and Emissions

I was able to clear code P0447 with this replacement. My 2009 Nissan Rogue took about 45 minutes to install; The longest part was installing the o-ring. Also had to remove the wheel under the gas tank to access the area.

Perfect fit for 2012 Nissan Frontier

My 2012 Nissan's old evaporator canister was difficult to remove, but the valve itself was easy to remove and install. The electrical connection to the valve was easy to disconnect and reconnect.

I saved so much money buying this and hiring my mechanic.

have saved as much money by buying this and having my mechanic install it. My price from Nissan was about $400 to buy and install this part. I paid $62 for it on Amazon and my mechanic charged me $20 for the job. The part fitted and now I have no more problems with my 2010 Nissan Versa Hatchback. $300 saved! TO BUY! TO SAVE MONEY!

I bought this valve for less than $70 and replaced it myself in less than 15 minutes and saved over $300

I had a check engine light on my Nissan Rogue and at the dealership after they scanned my car they told me this valve needed to be replaced and gave me an estimate of $400 to fix it. After some research I bought this valve for less than $70 and replaced it myself in less than 15 minutes and saved over $300 which is not great for non-mechanics.

I used this valve on a 2009 Nissan Rogue.

Used this valve on a 2009 Nissan Rogue. Looks different than the original but works. I got error code PO447 and changing this part fixed it. I haven't received a code for 4 months in a row. The only problem I had was that the o-ring was too tight. I couldn't get this valve to go in even after fitting the part to the canister. I finally solved this problem by using an old o-ring from my old valve. I hope this advice can be useful for someone.

Works well for exhaust and emissions

Bought this part to solve a CEL that has been bugging me for weeks, DTC p0456 very small leak in EVAP system. These very small leaks are usually due to loose gas caps, but this leak kept reappearing no matter how hard I tightened the gas cap, so I researched online and found that Nissan, among others, is prone to this valve failure vent control. The part hangs from a charcoal canister under the rear passenger side of my Murano 09 and is accessible without a lift. I pulled out my stock unit, noโ€ฆ
