Constantly returned to the bad canister. No return

It didn't work out, I had to buy OEM from Toyota. Now stuck with expensive junk. Hunted for months as to why they couldn't clear the codes. Constantly returned to the bad canister. Cannot return past return time.

It was a very good product. I had three errors showing my OBDII scanner. He took out the old one, then put in a new canister and all the bugs were gone. I waited several hundred kilometers before writing this review.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Easy enough to install and comes with spare screws for all.

Fits exactly and replaces my 2001 Toyota Sienna. Fairly easy to install and comes with spare screws for all brackets. The canister is located just behind the gas tank and in front of the spare wheel under the car. Simply remove the protective cover to access the canister.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Empty

Doesn't last long on exhaust and emissions

I installed this less than 2 years ago and now my VSV has failed again. The only way to get a new VSV is to buy the whole canister body. Dorman Customer Service informed me that they offer their dealers a lifetime warranty, however compliance with that warranty is the responsibility of the dealer. I can't claim Revain under warranty so I'm guessing it was just an expensive lesson. Buy OEM.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
