Cheap, fast repair for my Volvo.

My problem with poor performance, low mileage solved. My mileage jumped 2mpg after this setup. Now let's see how well it holds up. Cheaper than original BOSCH part. If it continues to work as it should, it's a very good deal. This BTW installed on my Volvo 96 960 in a minute. Complete "partial drop" with no installation or operational issues. It was "plug and play". The valve did not require the supplied adapter plug, the 960 harness plug simply plugged directly into the valve's receptacle…

  • Doping 🔥

  • I have no aversions to it, everything is fine

Can be cheap but not permanent

I installed this on my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. It worked great for about 3 months, then again the same problem that the car wouldn't start after filling up. This time I took it to the mechanic thinking I had a bigger problem as I never expected it to fail after only 3 months. I was told that this valve is defective and needs to be replaced. A full fuel system check and vent valve replacement cost me $200 due to a poorly made valve I bought here. Spend a few dollars more and buy a factory…

Working but missing connector bracket for VW MKV/MK5 Jetta

I bought this unit to replace the original blow off valve on my 2008 VW Jetta SE. It fits and works perfectly, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. The adapter cable is not perfect, but it works. Unfortunately, this part is missing the bracket that attaches the OEM part to the engine. This part just sits on top of a bunch of other wires, which isn't a good long-term solution. You can use zip ties for attachment and anti-vibration, but I'm not a fan of underhood zip ties. I would suggest buying…

Fixed starting problems after refueling for Hyundai Sonata

Ordered for my 2005 Hyundai Sonata which was having trouble starting every time after giving it gas. I had to rev the engine and change gears quickly to keep the car running after filling up. Then it's no problem until I fill it up again. It would make me nervous on long stretches if it wouldn't start at all. After researching I saw something about the blow off control valve. After finding it on Revain for a third of the price I decided to give it a try and spent over $300 on mechanics who…

Great - so far it works!

This Dorman valve will also work on a 2003 Eurovan, approximately 7 months. Yes, he died after 7 months. It's worth having the included adapter plug handy. If that cheap Dorman valve fails after 7 months you have more options to replace it from the wider selection of quality Bosch N80 valves that you should have used from the start. Top Tip: If you are getting evaporative codes, remove the N80 purge valve. If you can blow or pull air through, it's fired. This is a normally closed solenoid valve

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Capacity

vw jetta 2001 came up and worked and passed the emissions. BUT THE FIRST START WITH THE ADAPTER DEFECTIVE. If you find you can't get it to work, check the adapter. There are 2 female clips that connect to the actual [call valve. Inside the single female receiving clamp are 2 clamps, a connection to the adapter itself and a clamp in contact with the male part of the purge valve. It will not work and will read an open circuit error code if it is bent or missing. (Actually you only have a couple…
