Dorman is made in China, but isn't that all they make these days? I was a bit sketchy reading the reviews for this part but it arrived and I installed it with no problems, it's a bit stiff but it didn't affect the installation in any way. To be honest this deal goes way beyond the $140 you pay at the dealer if you ask me.

2006 BMW 325! This part works, but the cable is too short. It was better to just plug in the old cable than struggle to fit it. There are no error codes. If you plan to remove the header to replace the starter, it is best to order this part in advance. That's a really good price. You have about a 99% chance that the old pipe will break.

Perfect fit. When removing the manifold on my 06 325i to replace the starter, the original pipe broke (which appears to have already ruptured due to the outer foam being soaked with oil). Replaced the starter but couldn't pull the stock wiring connector that goes to the breather tube off the manifold so I just cut the wires and spliced them together. I hope there are no problems!

I was particularly surprised at how quickly the item arrived and I couldn't wait to begin the installation. But to my disappointment the wiring harness was too short and I couldn't connect it. I hope to stretch it without breaking the cord. Can't say if it works yet. When I plugged in the wiring harness, it wouldn't snap into place. Unfortunately, there is a chance that it will fall off over time. I hope the seller understand my message and help to find a solution, otherwise buyers should…
