Fixed my leak! in parts

I had a small oil leak in my Honda element and was told this usually happens because the VVT seal ages and goes flat. Of course when I removed part of my engine the gasket was flat on both sides and the rubber was hard. Replaced with a new one and no more leaks!

Pros
  • Exchange fixes poor engine performance and oil leaks
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Perfect fit for solenoids where cheap ones don't

Tried one of the other cheaper shims and it was quite thick and didn't fit the groove in the solenoid body causing it to float during installation. I was afraid of this happening and I was right. It got stuck and it leaked. Replaced by this Dorman. This one fit perfectly and tried not to pop out. You need that because the installation is blind there and you cannot see whether the seal is in order. good part.

Pros
  • Rubber and steel for longer life
Cons
  • Safety

Perfect fit for 2005 Vtech CRV Solenoid

Vtech Solenoids will eventually leak through this gasket. It's not if, it's when. In this case you will have to remove the solenoid and replace this block as the old one will become very brittle and clog the screen. This leads to poor performance and leaks. It fits right into the solenoid. While it's off I suggest a cheap oil pressure gauge so I don't have to pull it again in the near future. Cheap easy way to avoid more Ehadach in the future. Good buy for this one.

Pros
  • Direct replacement for a correct installation every time
Cons
  • Unusable Functions

PERFECTLY FIT AND FIXED! 2005 Honda Element

This is the perfect solution for my 2005 Honda Element. It "twitched" and acted like the engine cut out at about 3000 rpm while driving. If you didn't make it, the engine would stall. A little research revealed that my VTEC screen is clogged. I ordered this bad boy, replaced it yesterday and BAM! My element shines again! It's amazing how this little thing can affect your engine, but what power and power it has now! The screen wasn't visibly clogged, but it seemed glued together enough to make a
