Fixed leak and easy to install

Worked great on a 2006 Odyssey Touring. It leaked like a sieve, these seals fixed everything. I spent most of my time cleaning the engine parts before assembly so this is an easy fix.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Made in China not Japan like OEM

I just don't want to risk using Chinese made parts when the OEM's are Japan. They might work, but I don't want to risk it. This also happened with another pad I bought from Revain.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Quality

Dorman rushes to the rescue.

For years I had to replace $300 Vtec solenoids because the center gasket was leaking because nobody made it. Finally, Dorman stepped up and saved hundreds of our customers with OEM quality seals from buying more.

My problem is solved, no more leaks

I have a 2006 Pilot 2WD that spilled a ton of oil. The mechanic told me that the VTEC solenoid valve seal was leaking. I ended up replacing it myself because I would have to wait a week for it. It took me about 30 minutes to remove the valve, then cleaned it and replaced the gasket. Be sure to replace BOTH seals. Obviously, these seals are known to fail. If you have a VTEC engine, it might make sense to automatically swap it out once you hit 100,000. Mine was changed at about 200k, although…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are defects
