The metal on this part should be the same as the OEM one, if you're trying to save money and go cheap it may crack at the top. Save yourself the headache and spend $50 on the part.

Although the shape is correct (bend and length) the diameter was too big (0.02 inch diameter) which took me about an hour or more to sharpen and grind Part included in the device.
