For the people who are saying the speed sensor holes are cut too deep and their sensors are going bad, I would ask if they've read the documentation that comes with them, if that's the case. The IT guy told them to check the sensors and put a washer under them when they were supposed to close, the washers were included. If Dorman corrected the VSS hole machining I would give 5 stars. Great fit with one exception. You edited the VSS hole too hard. What this means for you: screw the speed sensor all the way in and you will probably ruin it. Many people have the same problem. Be sure to check the play between the VSS and the brake wheel. Installed on my 2000 Silverado transfer case during a complete overhaul with new seals, bearings and Merchant Auto Pump Debris Remover (new pump housing). Same problem as the others, leaking drain and filler plugs. The factory case uses tube plugs (tapered threads). Dorman uses a standard 16 x 1.5mm straight thread. You say to use a non-hardening sealant but I don't see how that would work since the fluid gets on the filler threads and later when you change the fluid you can't remove the fluid from the drain threads.
