Fits my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo as advertised

Fits my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo as advertised. You will definitely need a heat gun to remove the old one. We didn't have any so we just ripped them off to make it work without a heat gun, it's just more manual labor. Everything fell into place and I think the whole process took about 15 minutes.

Perfect Repair for 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This part and bushing repaired my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee perfectly. As other reviewers have pointed out, removing the old circuit board becomes a lot easier if you have a heat gun. In fact, I'm not sure it would have been possible without her. Maybe a really good hair dryer.? But my industrial heat gun handled it fairly easily. I wish Dodge/Jeep had developed a part that doesn't heat up and burn out over time and requires expensive parts. I've considered using LED replacements to minimize the

A simple solution to a dangerous problem

It was definitely cheaper than replacing the entire taillight assembly. This is no different from the original part; which could not transmit lamp voltage to light bulbs due to poor design/age. The lamps kept losing contact with the metal contacts on the old circuit boards. Every few weeks I would have to remove one or both assemblies and wiggle the connectors because one or both brake lights stopped working. It's been a year since I replaced the circuit boards in both tail light assemblies and

Fits perfectly, works great, don't buy a whole new tail light!

Perfect fit for my 2000 Jeep GC. I didn't want to buy a new taillight because I knew the aftermarket wouldn't fit the other side, so I had to buy a complete set. This simple repair fixes a very common problem on these jeeps with taillights. Removing the original is a bit tricky as it is fully sealed and taped in addition to the snaps. You may want to add some new gasket material when installing just to keep it watertight. So plan on buying a tube of these with this board. I would also recommend

The driver's side rear turn signal has stopped working on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The lamp was fine, but one of the pins on the standard board was swapped and blown. I tried prying the contact but no luck so I ordered this. It was very easy to install. Heat the assembly with a hair dryer. This softened the glue without any problems. I used a small screwdriver to clean the tabs and removed the old circuit board from the taillight assembly. I applied some black silicone sealant to the groove

Fast, easy and inexpensive repair!

I decided to buy this replacement board rather than the whole assembly. I'm glad I did. The process was pretty easy and quick. An ordinary household hair dryer with high power was enough. Break off all the tabs from the old panel and heat a small section of the edge of the panel for about 1 minute. Take a large flathead screwdriver and pry open the circuit board at this point. Continue with the next section of board until finally it is completely removed. The whole process took me about 5…

Mixed quality control by the supplier.

I ordered two of these to repair both taillights on our Grand Cherokee. The first was easy to install and went with no problems - glue was added and it snapped easily into place. Problems arose with the second installation. There are molded plastic tabs on each end of this block that should snap into the tabs on the taillight housing. The cast iron broke off during installation. A quick visual inspection of the part showed that this was the result of an incomplete injection mold (ie the part…
