Rebuilt the rear brakes on a 2001 Silverado and replaced the skid plates. The old boots were destroyed so they were a good addition to the projects to make the brakes 'like new'.

If you have a C5 Corvette these emergency brake bushings will save you the expense of buying a full kit including brake pads when you only need bushings. They are not sold individually anywhere else.

These brake pad levers are a marvel for the 98-02 Camaro/Firebird! Yes, folks, they will work on the mighty F Corps! Unfortunately NOBODY makes a base plate to replace the obsolete ones (unfortunately) and I have to live with pretty hard plates for now (huge sadness). I'm sure these boots will increase my top speed by at least 20 mph as now there is no parasitic drag of the old ones blowing in the wind and they are much more aerodynamic.

As some others have said, they are not suitable for the standard version. The base is twice as thick as it should be and you can't screw on the locking ring and the slot is half as long as it needs to be to avoid tearing. I cut the base in half as it should be about 1/8th thick and then opened up the hole so you can put it on top of the e-brake lever. This is the solution to a torn parking brake cover for 4th Gen Camaro / Firebird / Trans Am. This is for the parking brake on 1998 thru 2002 models.
