Review on πŸ”§ Dorman 924-243 Brake Lever Boot: Combining Performance and Durability by Bob Schultz

They don't fit without major modifications.

As some others have said, they are not suitable for the standard version. The base is twice as thick as it should be and you can't screw on the locking ring and the slot is half as long as it needs to be to avoid tearing. I cut the base in half as it should be about 1/8th thick and then opened up the hole so you can put it on top of the e-brake lever. However, it's still not flexible enough to move without snapping when the electronic brake is applied, so you'll need to widen the opening even further. If that works? Yes. but be prepared to modify it to make it work at least slightly, but at least it's possible to get them yourself as GM doesn't sell them separately and not everyone needs a full rebuild kit.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
