Installs under an old truck with the typical perforated corners you get at a hardware store. I found a square head bolt and machined the two opposite sides to fit the bushing and then used a coupler to weld it to a threaded stud that fits in the rear wheel well. And welded a nut to the protruding end. Now I can use a socket wrench to lower and raise the spare tire to check air pressure etc without wrestling with the heavy tire balancing on the support beam in the yoga position.

Didn't want to adapt this to a specific vehicle, I was looking for a generic product for use under a 5x8 trailer. This one works fine. The "hole" for the stem is occupied by a 3/8" actuator extension (not tight as it's a bit wider, but fits the height just fine).
