Wow! I never thought I would find the perfect replacement for my third generation 4Runner EBrake. The old one was completely detached from the road salt. Very happy with it. Well done

Fits my 98 4runner perfectly. But my boot is a bit cracked, but I can't complain. It works great and at this price I don't mind replacing it after a few years.

This kit really saved my 4Runners parking brake system. It came with everything plus a little bit! I had to file the clam shell to get the teflon washers to fit properly, but other than that it was a great relief. Bought a Raybestos parking brake cable assembly and combined with this kit I had everything to replace a rusty system.

Fits perfectly on my 2002 4Runner Limited. All the parts were there and it was an exact match. My old cranks were rusty and stuck when the electronic brake was pulled. I would have to hit them back to relieve the pressure. They don't mention it, but the kit I received came with a bag of heavy duty silicone grease to lubricate the pivot in the rubber boot.

Worked, but: A large burr on the drive arm pivot pin hole had to be sawed off to fit. This will remove any anti-corrosion coating. Nylon spacers are useless as there is no room for them between the lever and the mounting block. The block is not designed for the thickness of the gaskets. I assume that they will be connected in two years. All springs and screws were fine.

My 4-way parking brake is completely rusted. I was able to replace the mechanism and now my brakes are better than new. It came with a small pack of grease, but I bought some expensive brake grease to pack them a little better once the installation and adjustment was complete. I sprayed the mechanism with chain lube to keep it from rusting. This is a task that anyone savvy enough to have a set of metrics tools can do. One of the two is a fact. Either Dorman or Revane have lousy quality control. I received an equipment package without zippers. There is no way to contact Revain just to fix the problem, I have to go to the trouble of getting a refund, wasting all my time and risking losing. I needed a truck part so I could take it camping on the 4th. Now I'm dealing with a lot of wasted time that I was trying to avoid. I can't say anything positive about Revane Prime, in this case it doesn't work.
