Great solution! in Spare Parts

Very good item! Takes care of problematic factory parts prone to leaks. Fits perfectly on my large C3500 box, although he said it didn't suit my application I just tied the wire to the side.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Not bad

It worked! - Power Steering

I bypassed this old GM evo sensor when replacing the power steering pump on a 1998 gmc 3500 with a 5.7 liter engine. Made a noise and I couldn't turn the wheels while stopping or driving slowly, that solved the problem!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...

Pushes out the pressure line so you can't reattach the wire bracket

This works well but unfortunately is designed to push the pressure line out far enough to hit the metal wire brace that keeps the wiring harness from hitting the steering shaft. I found out, but it could have easily been done, so it didn't happen.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • The list goes on.

My weak steering feel has been fixed.

I installed this on my 1998 Chevy Silverado power steering pump and it fixed my sloppy steering play. Installation will take some time and make sure you have the power steering pump pulley installation tool to install this installation. All of my control faces were in good condition, so it depended.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Pretty good

100% incompatible

This product does not work at all. The thread is not deep enough for the high pressure hose to have a good connection and o-ring seal. I have two of them thinking that part was the problem. Both had a ruptured O-ring, but that didn't happen until I turned the steering wheel locks. I got the same part from the dealer and there is a visible difference in the threads. 1997 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Secret
