Receive two different hubs

I have ordered two Dorman 930-550 rear hubs. Although I received two, they were slightly different from each other. One was made in Taiwan and is exactly the same as the photo; the other is made in China and had different wheel studs and slightly different castings. For example, two of the holes that were drilled in the "Made in Taiwan" device (which are present in the picture in Revain's listing) were not present in the "Made in China" device.

Pros
  • Quality Assured - This hub has been dimension, material and rigorously tested to quality standards

The hub is of good quality but the axle nut will not fit a 1995 Miata.

Stock purchased 1995 Miata. The quality of the hub looks good enough and I've ridden it around the track a few times with no issues (but I'm by no means a fast/skilled rider and haven't ridden R-Comp tires before). The axle nut/spindle nut doesn't fit. I'm guessing the nut could fit a second generation (99-04) Miata, but the nut diameter was too big for the 1.8 '95 axles. on RockAuto when I had to switch sides. Dorman needs to address this issue because the nut is not readily available…

Pros
  • Economic solution - offers OE quality at a competitive price
Cons
  • unreliable

Dorman 930-550 - Bearing

Ordered two of these bearings for my 1991 Mazda Miata. I was hoping for Taiwan made versions but instead got two Chinese made versions. Details look good. Cleanly processed, no burrs on the teeth. I'll install them soon. I am installing ARP wheel studs and am nervous about which part number to order. Some threads on the Miata forums have mentioned that all replacement hubs are made with Miata roller diameters larger than 94. I pressed the standard wheel studs onto these Dorman hubs and measured

Pros
  • Sturdy construction - this part is made of quality materials for long life
Cons
  • Exchange Material
