🔌 Dorman 970-004 ABS Sensor and Harness Kit Review

This harness failed within a few months of installation on my performance car. It was a huge disappointment to deal with the dashboard warning lights every time I hit the brake pedal. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to discover that this Automotive product is poorly designed and made from cheap materials.

Fits the passenger side of the 1998 GMC K1500 Sierra. Didn't solve my intermittent ABS light even though the computer showed an open circuit in the passenger side ABS sensor. At least it helped me to rule out the sensor. It looks like the ABS block is defective but this particular KH310 block will not open and the solder joints have melted.

Great product. I replaced two front ABS sensors on my Silverado. One was AC Delco and the other was this Dorman. Both work but the Delco AC doesn't look like the OEM I removed. This looks identical to the OEM. In addition, neither instructions nor the bearing grease required for installation were included with the DELco AC. This Dorman came with both! Best buy, identical to the original and comes with everything you need.
